I had noticed foxes were disappearing after being killed and was eager to understand if it was feral cats or other foxes taking the carcass; I decided to leave it in place and place one of our cameras on the dead fox. The sequence is what happens to it over the course of five days with cameos from Australian Ravens, Wedge-tailed Eagles and other foxes. Again, the body was entirely removed from the scene and I have not found any of its remains.

The unique and inimitable Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater - a brilliant bird!

After looking at the video settings on my camera after getting this footage, I realised the mode did not allow for continuous focus, so with my changes hopefully the next footage will be much better quality and less frustrating for me :)

Now I know this footage will not be winning any prizes (pretty dodgy focus due to not being able to see the back of the camera screen properly to pull focus, burrs digging in to my knees and flies trying to enter every facial orifice), but I was pretty happy to see this fantastic Malleefowl on our block and be able to grab a bit of video.

Like Jack Nicholson said in 'A Few Good Men'... "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE CUTE!". Well I may be paraphrasing or misquoting, but who cares when you have this much cuteness!
